Services
Bass & Khury is a
Nevada corporation providing independent actuarial consulting
services in the United States and Canada. Services are provided by
two principals:

Litigation Support. This work is provided to law firms and it is undertaken under one of two broad umbrellas: either as a pure consulting service to assist attorneys in their work on individual litigation/arbitration matters or as an expert witness service to provide oral and/or written expert testimony.
Ratemaking. This work is provided mainly to assist insurers who make rate filings. We provide peer review services prior to making a filing, we provide assistance to filers in the process of obtaining regulatory approval, and we provide support if and when an administrative rate hearing is called.
Reserving. This work is provided to clients who are concerned with the condition of reserves as of a certain date. Clients in this area include insurance companies, regulatory authorities, and law firms. Bass & Khury recently introduced a decision-support service to assist actuaries in identifying ranges of reasonableness. This innovation is described and illustrated in other sections of this website.
